Mobile carrier Cape is launching what it describes as an “ultra-secure cell phone service.”
The service is designed for people who are at high risk of digital attacks, like journalists and public figures.
The company plans to launch a similar security and privacy-focused service to the rest of the market next year.
Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) Cape announced in a press release that it is launching a new cell phone service. Cape aims to separate itself from competitors like AT&T and Verizon by focusing hard on privacy and security.
Described as an “ultra-secure cell phone service,” Cape says its solution was designed with the help of national security professionals. It was previously only available to government employees but is now being offered to more users.
