Marko Elez â the 25-year-old Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) staffer who has reportedly been combing through the Treasury Departmentâs payment systems â resigned from his position after the Wall Street Journal uncovered an old social media account linked to him with numerous posts promoting racism and eugenics.

The accountâs previous handle was @marko_elez, according to the Journalâs report.
Other posts called for repealing the Civil Rights Act and reinstating a âeugenic immigration policy.â
Elez â a former employee of SpaceX, Starling, and X â was one of the young DOGE employees tasked with spearheading Elon Muskâs takeover of the federal government.
