Samsung has updated the user interface for its smart home app SmartThings, replacing the slightly muted color scheme of the old app — full of grays and earth tones — with a new UI and overall fresher look. The new interface launches on Android today with the iOS version “to follow” at some unknown time in the future, says Samsung.

While the interface of the old app was oriented around the different rooms users had assigned for their smart home gadget, the new layout now focuses on five spaces:

Favorites – a new homescreen, with quick access to users’ most-used devices and scenes (scheduled routines, like for the morning or leaving the house).

Devices – for a full list of all connected smart devices.
