1. Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G Processor Launched.
Qualcomm has announced their new 5G processor in its 7 series of processors the Snapdragon 750G. It comes with 5G support for Sub-6 and mmWave, SA and NSA, and global 5G banding.
The processor uses the 64-bit Qualcomm Kryo 570 eight-core CPU clocked at up to 2.2GHz, and the Qualcomm Adreno 619 GPU. The processor is based on 8 nm architecture. The CPU brings an improvement in the performance of more than 20 percent over the Snapdragon 730G SoC.
It supports Qualcomm FastConnect 6200 Subsystem, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and of course 5G with the Qualcomm Snapdragon X52 Modem-RF system. It is capable of delivering up to 3.7GBps download speeds on 5G and up to 1.2GBps on LTE.
The Processor also brings support for FHD+ displays at 120 fps and Qualcomm Quick Charge 4+ support as well. The Snapdragon 750G features aptX adaptive audio for low-latency, high-quality wireless audio.
It also features Snapdragon Elite Gaming features including Qualcomm® Adreno™ HDR Fast Blend, Qualcomm® Adreno™ Updatable GPU Drivers, and Qualcomm® Game Color Plus. You can read the detailed specifications here.
2. Android TV 11 Announced.
Following right behind the mobile release of Android 11, Google has also announced Android 11 on Android TV to bring the latest platform features to the big screen.
Android 11 on Android TV introduces performance and privacy improvements, new features tailored for the TV. Some of the latest features include enhanced memory management, Auto Low Latency Mode, and extended gamepad support.
One of the prime features that Android 11 carries over from its mobile-focused release to smart TVs is one-time permissions. This will let you grant third-party apps temporary access to your microphone and other hardware.
Google has also added support for the Nintendo Switch Pro controller and Steam controller to Android 11. Additionally, Google has upgraded the Android TV Emulator to help developers easily test their apps for smart TVs.
3. Moto E7 Plus Launched In India.
Moto E7 Plus has been launched in India. Coming to the specifications, Moto E7 Plus runs on Android 10. The phone features a 6.5″ HD+ Max Vision display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The Moto E7 Plus offers a dual rear camera setup that includes a 48MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. The phone also comes with an 8MP selfie camera sensor at the front. The smartphone also packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 10W charging.
The price of the Moto E7 Plus has been set at Rs. 9,499 and comes in Misty Blue and Twilight Orange color options. Tt will be available for purchase through Flipkart starting on September 30 at 12 pm.
4. Nokia 2.4 And Nokia 3.4 Launched.
Nokia 2.4 and Nokia 3.4 have been launched. The price of the Nokia 2.4 starts at EUR 119 (approximately Rs. 10,300) and the price of the Nokia 3.4 starts at EUR 159 (approximately Rs. 13,700).
Both Nokia 3.4 and Nokia 2.4 come in Charcoal, Dusk, and Fjord color options. The Nokia 3.4 will go on sale starting early October, whereas the Nokia 2.4 will be available from the end of September.
Nokia 2.4 runs on Android 10 and comes with a 6.5″ HD+ (720 x 1600) display. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor paired with up to 3GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage.
The Nokia 2.4 features a dual rear camera setup that includes a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. There is also a 5MP selfie camera sensor at the front. It also packs a 4500mAh battery.
Nokia 3.4 runs on Android 10 and features a 6.39″ HD+ (720 x 1560) display. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 octa-core processor with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
The phone offers the triple rear camera setup that includes a 13MP primary sensor, a 5MP sensor with an ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. it also has an 8MP selfie camera at the front. The phone packs a 4000mAh battery with 10W charging.
5. Lenovo ThinkBook Plus Launched In India.
Lenovo ThinkBook Plus, a dual-screen laptop, has been launched in India with an e-Ink cover display. The ThinkBook Plus was first unveiled in January at CES 2020.
The Lenovo ThinkBook Plus features a 13.3″ FHD (1920 x 1080) IPS display. It offers 300 nits of peak brightness and 100 percent coverage of sRGB color gamut. The ThinkBook Plus can be equipped with up to a 10th-Generation Core i7 processor, up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and 32GB Intel Optane Memory H10 with 512GB SSD for storage. The laptop comes with Intel UHD onboard graphics.
The laptop also comes with a 10.8″ e-Ink monochromatic display that can be operated with the laptop closed. It can be used for taking notes or sketching with the integrated Lenovo Precision Pen. It comes with 10 hours of battery life with support for fast charging.
For connectivity, you get WiFi 802.11 2×2 ax, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB Type-C port, two USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI 1.4b port, and a headphone jack.
The Lenovo ThinkBook Plus is priced at Rs. 1,12,690 in India and comes in Iron Grey color. It is available for purchase from Lenovo.com and Amazon in the country.
