OnePlus has announced a new addition to its lineup of mid-range phones, the Nord CE. According to the company, the “CE” stands for “Core Edition,” an indication that the company is focusing on the fundamentals, rather than inflating the device’s spec sheet with unnecessary extras.

OnePlus Nord CE 5G runs on Android 11 with OxygenOS 11. It features a 6.43-inch FHD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with 20:9 aspect ratio and 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G SoC, along with Adreno 619 GPU and 6GB of RAM.

For photos and videos, the OnePlus Nord CE 5G has a triple rear camera setup that houses a 64MP primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens and electronic image stabilization (EIS), 8MP secondary sensor with an f/2.25 ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP monochrome sensor with an f/2.4 lens. In terms of selfies and video chats, the OnePlus Nord CE has a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 selfie camera at the front. It is paired with an f/2.45 lens and EIS support.

OnePlus Nord CE 5G offers up to 256GB of onboard storage. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS/ NaVIC, NFC, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone packs a 4500mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T Plus technology.

OnePlus Nord CE 5G price in India starts at Rs. 22,999 for the 6GB + 128GB storage variant. The phone also has an 8GB + 128GB storage model priced at Rs. 24,999 and the top-of-the-line 12GB + 256GB storage variant that is priced at Rs. 27,999. It comes in Blue Void, Charcoal Ink, and Silver Ray colors and will be available for purchase through Amazon and OnePlus.in starting June 16. Pre-booking for the new OnePlus phone will begin from Friday, June 11.
