T-Mobile is launching a cheap Android phone under its REVVL brand with the new REVVL V 5G +. Billed as “the most affordable 5G smartphone ever in the U.S.”, this phone is a T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile exclusive, launching on July 12.
The Revvl V Plus 5G comes with Android 11. The phone has a 6.82-inch HD+ LCD with face unlock and fingerprint sensor for biometrics. It features MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor designed with inexpensive 5G phones in mind. It’s paired with 4GB of RAM plus 64GB of built-in storage, which is expandable via microSD.
It offers a main 16MP rear-facing camera along with two more unspecified 5MP and 2MP sensors on the back as well as a 16MP selfie camera. There’s also a long-lasting 5,000mAh battery with an 18W fast charger
It’ll go on sale first through Metro by T-Mobile starting on July 12th, with sales through T-Mobile starting on July 23rd. The smartphone will be available to buy for $199.99 outright or from $8.34 a month with a 24-month plan.
